The shares were priced at ₦5.64 each, valuing the transaction at ₦11.28 billion and adding significant depth to the NGX’s market capitalization, which now stands at ₦66.67 trillion. Legend Internet’s stock debuted strongly, closing at ₦6.20, a 9.93% increase from its listing price.
This transaction was led by DETAIL’s Finance and Capital Markets Partner, Temidayo Ajayi, with an exceptional team support from Associate Partner, Ranti Fajana, as well as Associate, Moyosore Olajuyigbe and Solicitor, Omolabake Sulaimon.
This listing marks a major milestone for Nigeria’s tech and broadband sectors:
- Legend Internet becomes the first indigenous broadband provider to list on the Nigerian bourse.
- It is also the first company listing on the NGX in 2025, setting a strong tone for the year ahead.
